The new Calhoun County K-12 School is designed to meet the educational needs of all students, Kindergarten through 12th grade, in Calhoun County. The facility features separate classroom wings for Elementary, Middle and High School. Separate libraries and gymnasiums were also constructed for Elementary and Middle/High School students. A shared cafeteria connects the three separate school wings. The facility is designed in a way that provides complete separation for all age groups, while also allowing for shared use common spaces and administration. Construction took place on an occupied campus.
